Cyber Security Specialist
A Cyber Security Specialist is a professional who connects Security and Resillence with Business and IT to improve and maintain organizations with secure and continouis digital solutions. You will learn to align security processes, business processes and IT systems, and explore opportunities using Security and Resillence methods. By collaborating closely with stakeholders and other IT professionals, you design, test, and translate requirements into secure and scalable solutions. With an security and resillence mindset, a Cyber Security Specialist helps organizations perform secure, optimally and remain future‑proof.

As a knowledge guide we use the CYBOK (Cyber Security Body of Knowledge)[https://www.cybok.org/ataglance/], a community effort supported bij the National Cyber Security Programme in th UK. This descibes the Cyber Security domain. An other knowledge source is for example European Cybersecurity Skills Framework (ECSF)[https://www.enisa.europa.eu/topics/skills-and-competences/skills-development/european-cybersecurity-skills-framework-ecsf] as part of the European Cybersecurity Skills Framework (ECSF)[https://www.enisa.europa.eu/]. We do not use this because this is more centered into functions than in the cyber security domain. Because we do not educate for a specific function we focus on the domain but the ECSF might be usefull for orientation on jobs in the future.
