Group Project
In the group project you work in a team on a real AI challenge brought in by a client. Over multiple sprints you go through the full cycle of an AI solution: you analyse the problem and its data, design and build a working prototype, and evaluate whether it delivers value and does so responsibly.
The group project is one of the three pillars of the Responsible AI studio, next to the learning groups and Portflow. Where the learning groups are about building depth in one topic, the group project is about applying your skills together, for a client.
How you work
You work as a team, following the studio's project management method:
- Sprints: the team plans its work per sprint, with daily routines, team roles and sprint ceremonies such as the sprint review with the client and the retrospective.
- Roles and agreements: you record your roles and agreements in a collaboration contract.
- Repository and Issue Board: the team works in a GitLab repository and tracks its work on an Issue Board, using user stories, learning stories and a shared Definition of Done.
- Meetings: next to the daily routines, the team meets with the client, the project coach and experts.

What you deliver
At the end of the project the team delivers:
- a working prototype or MVP, in the form of code,
- documentation on how to install and use the code, and
- per person, a research report on your personal part.
